bamascvreb Posted October 23, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2021 Got these today from a navy veteran’s estate and i think they are all navy related. Wondering if anyone would know approximate date and if they are US made, etc
bamascvreb Posted October 23, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted October 23, 2021 Presume this was his rank patch-i have a couple uniforms with similar bullion patches on the sleeve—not sure about what rank this designates.

Bearmon Posted October 23, 2021 Share #4 Posted October 23, 2021 CVW or Naval Air Wings started in 1963, before that they were CVG's Naval Air Groups so that's an earliest possible date

Thanks—still trying to identify different types of patches. I found a similar japanese made one. I dont think these are repros based on where i got them from a veterans estate where i got his lighters and uniforms.
