Remington-UMC US Army 1911 1918 Production

Here for your perusal is Remington-UMC .45ACP U.S. Army Model of 1911 serial number 9808 shipped December 1918 per Poyer's Model 1011 book (is any additional shipment information available)? Despite hard use it's nice and tight and should be a good shooter (will post range report when I shoot it).

That’s an old warhorse for sure. I like it.
 

Looks like the frame and slide finish are mis-matched.

Post on 1911forum.com  They can tell you alot about it

Yes mismatched Remington UMC slide and frame and will make a good shooter.
