Navy SEAL Modded DCU

Here is a modified Navy SEAL DCU with blood type, Velcro tab under the back collar, and the name (most likely nickname) Ski written in the jacket. This jacket is heavily used and shows a lot of where and tear. Sadly all of the front closure buttons are missing, but that’s an easy fix. I know it’s a long shot, but can anyone ID the SEAL who wore this? I know last names ending in “ski” must be a dime a dozen, even for SEALs.

If you want to see more photos feel free to ask.

Thanks! Definitely a needle in a hay stack to track down, but I can’t complain. Legit modified tops are getting tough to find, especially with all the fakes being pumped out on eBay and ones made for airsofters.

MC Slabinski, who is quite famous (Robert’s Ridge) was referred to as Slab, doubt it is his anyways.

I’d say anyone whose last name ended in -ski is a likely candidate.

Manchu Warrior

I grew up in an area with a large Polish population and over the years I knew at least a dozen folks with the nickname Ski.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the USN SWCC (Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman) that work alongside the Seals wear the same basic DCU uniforms.  Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Velcroed DCUs worn by Seals and the Velcroed DCUs by SWCC?   Maybe the inked in blood type is something not done by SWCC?

I found the below two individuals with the nickname of "Ski" who were both early UDT so I don't think they could have worn this era uniform. There must have been a number of Seals that shared this nickname.

1.  BM1 Steve B. Bourecksky died 22 Oct 2008

2. Commander Donald James Wrysinski died 18 Jan 1963

Yes, there were likely others who had this same nickname, including many who will probably never be found via a random Google search over the internet.
