West Point cadets and an American Revolution standard bearer.  Bought these from the Old Toy Soldier Museum in Vicksburg MS years ago when they closed their doors.  It was a very interesting place.  Not sure of the dates on these but I would assume pre 1940.  If anyone knows please let me know.

Composition figures are not my area of expertise, but from what little I know I think you are correct on pre-world war II for the west point cadets. Very nice set.

Elastolin did continue making composition figures after the war before they transitioned to plastic.

 

Im not sure if they made the USMA cadets after the war.

 

Ive collected them since I was a little boy in the early 60s.

Andrew- I also have a really cool barracks building that came with the collection.
