Ivydiv Posted October 14, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2021 It's that time again. The MAPS Air Museum Military show is happening this weekend. Set up is Saturday from 9-5 and the show is Sunday Oct. 17th from 9-4. Remember, the Museum is open all day Saturday during set up. Anyone wanting to attend the show early when the dealers are setting up are able with the purchase of the regular Museum admission of $10, otherwise the show is Sunday and admission then is $5. This show is twice a year, April and October so it is not run into the ground like the monthly gun shows. There will be 292 tables of all types of Militaria, and the show is always sold out. This is a quality show with dealers coming from all over the US. Just a note on the Museums. There are actually two Museums on the premises. One downstairs, and the other upstairs. There are a total of 13 Medals of honor displays in the Museums, 5 or 6 are from the Civil War period. Many aircraft are also on display on the grounds, and in the building. This is a really good quality show, well attended, with a great laid back atmosphere. Show is excellent for buying, as well as selling. Don't miss this one if you can possibly make it. You will not be disappointed. Some great items always turn up at this show. Show is held at 2260 International Parkway, North Canton, Oh. 44720 located one exit South of Akron/Canton Airport on I-77. There are signs for directions, and you cant miss the Fighter plane on a pole out in front of the property. Looking forward to seeing you there. Ivydiv Posted October 16, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted October 16, 2021 Today was set up day, but all but 8 dealers arrived and set up. Saturday has become almost an additional show. With paid admission for the Museum, anyone can come on in on Saturday when the dealers set up. Buying and selling is encouraged. I saw a lot of nice deals go down on some great stuff today. The regular show is tomorrow, Sunday, from 9-4. Judging from today's business tomorrow should be the best show yet. 292 tables of all militaria are jammed into the hall. Don't miss it if at all possible. Dave
