Curious if this leather tote bag was standard issue for Navy officers during his era? Anybody know anything else about these leather tote bags? They were not being issued in the mid 90s, I know that personally. ;) Also curious if nameplates went below the “USN” you see? Looks like he had something there that no longer is attached.
