I picked up these two Air Force OG107 shirts yesterday at a local antique store. Both named to the same Airman and both shirts are 1968 dated. What I am wondering is when and if the Air Force switched to subdued patches? Is this fairly late in the war for color or is it normal? Thank you for your input. I should mention that I am not overly knowledgeable about Air Force uniforms , equipment, etc.

We were still in fatigues 107s with blue insignia when I was in 1972-76 but in the early 1980s…they transitioned to subdued insignia.  The specific date…someone should know USAF REG 35-10

I went to basic training on 08 October 1980 and we were issued all subdued insignia. I believe the wear out date for the blue and white name tapes was 1978.
