ww2collector985 Posted October 8, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2021 Just got this one. A Type 14 with serial numbered capture paper brought back by SSgt Donald Bagley of the 32nd Infantry Division. The pistol was made in May 1944 at the Toriimatsu branch of Nagoya Arsenal. The papers came in the shown envelope. Bagley enlisted in ‘44. So he would have most likely picked this up in Luzon. I just love these capture pieces and the personal history attached to them. sundance Posted October 14, 2021 Share #4 Posted October 14, 2021 Great pistol. My dad was in the 32nd and brought a pistol home. Mom wouldn't have it in the house so dad gave it to our local small town police chief who lived next door. This all happened when I was a little one. I have a letter from my dad when he was on occupation duty stating that he spent part of his time signing bring back papers. I'm always looking here for one he signed. To come across a bring back paper your dad signed would be such a great find for you.
