tdogchristy90 Posted October 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted October 6, 2021 My neighbor had these stamps on his fathers USMC discharge document from WW2. Any idea what they were for?
dpast32 Posted October 6, 2021 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2021 I believe that they're almost assuredly the 'Received' stamp from his local Town Hall or Administration to formerly record his U.S. Military Service. That's my bet. Best, dpast32
FlyNavy02 Posted October 6, 2021 Share #3 Posted October 6, 2021 Many veterans had their honorable discharges recorded by their county clerk. These can be a great source for researching a veteran.
