Naval B-7 Electrically Heated Boots

Hello Everyone,

I’m hoping to get some help from some of the more knowledgeable members of the forum. I just picked up these boots today, but have found virtually no information about them. They are almost mint, and the tag identifies them as “Style B-7”. I’m assuming they are part of an electrically heated flight suit. I’d like to know when they where used and by who.  I would like to add these to a November Veterans Day display, but I need information about them for the display. I look forward to hearing all your information and comments.
Thanks in advance,

Vic

Nice WW2 boots for M456a navy colvinex electric heated flying suit. Great example! Mostly used by  Navy PB4Y crews.

Take care,

Jerry

Heated flight suits worn in China in 1947. The photo with the single individual is my grandfather.

I have similar photos of different squadron mates, but that's it.

Sounds great, can you post it here. Colvinex suits are always welcome to watch. Thx, Jerry
