Don’t know if allowed to post but the French ánd American medical 🏥 troops worked very close together.
Last week i was able to obtain a whole collection of French medical 🏥 stuffs.
Complete uniform of a Chef Medicine = Doctor and lots of medical stuffs.
Any kind of bandages.
Jars bottles some with contents tins instruments disinfection stiffs glass ampoules still in original box etc etc etc.
Haven’t had time yet to document.
Fits great in my US collection because Doughboys were also treated by French medical personnel and poilu’s by Americans vice versa.
Ambulance services the same.
Busy studying and researching this subject for a few years now and still busy with.
You cannot actually divide US & French medical because historically it’s woven together.
Every book or article i stumble on it.
Lucky me now i collect French medical to 😅

There’s a nice period picture of a chef medicine and you can see the sign.

Absolutely Amazing Frederik!!!

Thanks 🙏.  Always on the job researching & trying to locate stuffs.
This “ Genito Urinary Case “  made by “ Haslam “ i just got in yesterday.
5 pieces are missing so another job is there for me but will be very difficult.
still very happy with this set because every item in it belongs to this set originally.
After a 100 years and almost complete is amazing.

Located this “ Genito Urinary Case “ made by “ Haslam “ last Tuesday.
Was able to make a deal and got it in the collection yesterday.
Absolutely amazing all instruments in it belong to this set originally and only 5 little bits are missing after more than a centenary.
Looking at it it does frighten me a bit…

Bauer & Black Iodine swabs in original box.
Most swabs still wrapped in original paper.
Never expected to find such.

If you look at period pictures you sometimes see a patient with a big “T” on the forehead.
First thing a wounded got was an anti Tetanus injection.
To notify other medical troops in the Sanitary Train when transporting the wounded this made clear the Tetanus injection was done.
This letter “T” was done with iodine swabs.
Thought it’s a nice detail to mention.
