Keystone Posted September 21, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2021 I'm more of a field gear guy but I couldn't resist picking this up. Has anyone ever seen one of these bayonets? Tim
Misfit 45 Posted September 21, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 21, 2021 That's a great find! Congrats. Some of those pictures are in a book called "American Gladius" by Mack A. Pattarozzi,CPT (Ret.) I tried to bid on this bayonet on ebay many years ago, but it went too high. Marv

kaotikross Posted September 23, 2021 Share #4 Posted September 23, 2021 That's a slick design. Knife, cutter, knuckleduster. Way better than the other one with the fold out flat bar things. I have to admit the AK bayonets from the eastern bloc did a good job coming up with how to fit all that in a compact package, although the sheath is required to use it. The AK sheath is required for good reason, it's insulated. Cut into a live wire with these US prototypes and you are going to be riding the lightning! Frank Trzaska Posted September 27, 2021 Share #7 Posted September 27, 2021 I actually had the mock up, made of plastic and wood that was used for the model in the drawing. Neat piece and cool design. All the best Frank Trzaska
