Hercules 10 Cap Blasting Machine- Military?

Greetings all. I was wondering if anyone knows if this old blasting machine is US

issue?  It looks as if it was painted yellow at one point. Its a Hercules 10 Cap machine.

Most 10 cap blasting machines for the military are usually marked as such.  I would tend believe that this example was used in the civilian side of demo.  I have one very similar to this one that came out of a mine in PA.

This one has no military markings. Since I have never owned one of these, I was surprised #1 how big the thing is and #2

it must weigh 3 pounds ! I do not believe this one works as it whines when turned and there is a word magic marker-ed on it

the word looks like Deadline.

It makes a neat display piece.

that's a pretty interesting piece. I have only seen 1 for sale before in person, and I think t was a different model from the Vietnam war. anyways, nice find.
