I just find this ww2 silver star medal, named to George c Burke

I try some research but dont find anything about this man...

Can you help me?

A more common name than one might expect.  There were at least two WWII Silver Star recipients named George Burke, with different middle initials.  
 

Legit-looking medal, with nice hand-done slant engraving.  Where did you find it?

I agree that the engraving looks fine...just a matter of who he was.

At Hall of Valor I found only 1 George Burke that could fit your person as this ones SS was awarded in 45

Thanks Joe, I see him but it was George e Burke and on my medal it's a george C Burke...

Not easy to identified it!

That is the wrong middle initial entry I referred to above.
