Hi Team

 

Opinions on MFF Wing.

 

Note the poor quality Hallmark , I think it is Vanguard V dot21 (no hyphen) and then above looks like an I ?Dot21 (no hyphen). The ? is like its been erased?

 

It weighs like a standard oxidised metal finished , just seems od about the hallmark.

I just saw your post, so I apologize for the late reply. Your Military Free Fall Jumpmaster wings were made by Vanguard. Yours are the older style in silver oxide which most of us old guys prefer. The newer stay-brite type is shown below. Please excuse the flash reflection. I-21 is the hallmark for International Insignia Corporation and they often make insignia for Vanguard. Vanguard's hallmark is V-21. Examples are shown below.  I hope this is useful. I agree that the quality in metal insignia has dropped from what it used to be. All the best.
