sigsaye Posted September 14, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2021 This is a pair of Liberty cuffs, that I drew up snd had made about 1982. I was an SM1, aboard USS St. Louis, LKA -116. We were home ported in Sasebo Japan. I had them made for my really dressed up blues. The guy in the Navy Exchange made these up for me. I never wore cuffs in pairs. I wore different ones in each cuff. Meaning, these were not mounted in pairs. The eagle was in my right cuff, the dragon in my left. I drew these up, and the Eagle one is based on a graphic from Penthouse magazine. I sent pics to another forum member who documents Liberty cuffs. Then, I found them (in pairs), for sale on a Liberty cuff web site! Imagine my surprise! Anyway, enjoy. It’s nice to know they may be around longer than me.
