chief4af Posted September 12, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2021 Purchased this group a few years back from Col Stuart Welsh's niece. Based on the decorations, insignia and cloth patches. He was a veteran of the CBI and Korea. Also included is a table medal for his brother Rodney from his time in Malmedy.

Unfortunately only the insignia in the group can lead to the history. Signal Corps collar insignia only, license plate topper Signal Corps as well . 1 DI see attached looks to be an engineering unit. The rank insignia start at Major (pre WW2 manufacture)and end with full colonel.
