Hey folks, found this patch in a local antique shop and would like yalls opinion on it. Black is made out of wool and red is string, but what caught my attention was the brass letters tack. I was curious if yall had any insight on this.

A very high quality patch for sure, and of some vintage, unfortunately we don't know what its for or its origin.

Thank you for taking the time to look though, it is much appreciated! Seems this one will remain a mystery for now.

Do the letters match the names of any hospitals in the area?

None that could match an acronym.
