mmerc20 Posted September 10, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 10, 2021 I am very bad with identifying WWII vehicles and can’t tell if this is US. The photo was taken on Germany after the war, possibly in 46. Im not sure if it was decommissioned German artillery or US. Any help would be appreciated! manayunkman Posted September 10, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 10, 2021 Looks like a German 20mm Flak gun.

Notice how the sun hits the pants differently than the details on the building in the background.

I didn’t have the undoctored photo at the time I made the post. It has come a long way since then. I’m currently trying to locate the building and believe it is in Austria. This is the background colorized but not a final draft. Mike
pararaftanr2 Posted September 11, 2021 Share #5 Posted September 11, 2021 I believe it is actually a German 37mm Flakzwilling 43. Possibly mounted on a trailer, or vehicle. The main shield has been removed though.
