Vietnam, DAV, Handmade Walking Stick with Carved Eagle & Magnolia

Picked this up today. It is a LARGE piece. Stands 3' tall, Eagle is almost 5" from the beak to the back of the head and 2" across.

I am assuming that DAV stands for Disabled American Veterans.  Not sure what the MS represents.

Did the seller provide you with any history?
