jeremy69 Posted September 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2021 This has got to be the most gorgeous piece of M1 wood…
Persian Gulf Command Posted September 7, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 7, 2021 That's a beauty. Are all the parts correct for a Winchester M1 Garand as well?

Persian Gulf Command Posted September 7, 2021 Share #5 Posted September 7, 2021 That's OK. A correctly restored WW2 M1 Garand is a prize in anyone's gun collection. Parts were changed out and back into these rifles many times from their first cleaning and inspections to reissue to another GI and for arsenal rebuilds and then storage. jeremy69 Posted September 7, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted September 7, 2021 Persian Gulf, Yes, no excuses on this one. It is what it is. Finding a true “original” is very rare outside of a few late examples from CMP. Anything WWII is hard. The only thing I have in an M1 that’s substantially original in my opinion is a Lend-Lease. Happy to have this in my collection. The few original Winchesters I’ve seen are 2-3 times plus the cost of this one.

lambo35 Posted September 26, 2021 Share #10 Posted September 26, 2021 Wow, pretty. I have a K98 hand routed replacement stock, made of "Patagonian Cypress" that looks very much like your Win-13 stock, though not as well finished. Chuck.
