It’s restored. It’s all correct and original finish that I can tell.

That's OK.  A correctly restored WW2 M1 Garand is a prize in anyone's gun collection.  Parts were changed out and back into these rifles many times from their first cleaning and inspections to reissue to another GI and for arsenal rebuilds and then storage.

Yes, no excuses on this one. It is what it is. Finding a true “original” is very rare outside of a few late examples from CMP. Anything WWII is hard. The only thing I have in an M1 that’s substantially original in my opinion is a Lend-Lease.

 

Happy to have this in my collection. The few original Winchesters I’ve seen are 2-3 times plus the cost of this one.

Wow, pretty. I have a K98 hand routed replacement stock, made of "Patagonian Cypress" that looks very much like your Win-13 stock, though not as well finished.
