1980 contract dated woodland BDU

While thrifting I noticed some white tagged brand new M81 woodlands. I know they are not super exciting but nice to find old ones non the less. Anyways on closer inspection they are actually 1980 ones. 
 

there are a few differences between these and 1981 ones.

 

Vietnam style double stitching on the cargo pockets. 
 

The print camo print is bigger than the M81 from 1981. I know this maybe just whoever printed it maybe to blame however early M81 print is big anyways and this is even bigger ! The last photo shows M81 dated trousers ( pale colour ones ) at the side of the 80 ones. 
 

it’s a very interesting find …. Sooooo does this mean we rename the M81 to M80 !
