bertmedals Posted September 4, 2021 Share #1 Posted September 4, 2021 I recently bought a bag of 43 mixed USMC buttons at an estate sale. I've exhausted all the on-line resources I could find to date them but end up more confused. I'm posting some photos and descriptions and would appreciate any insight anyone may have on the era they are from. There were 8 different types as are shown in the first 2 pictures front and back. warguy Posted October 30, 2021 Share #9 Posted October 30, 2021 I am no expert on buttons by any means, but I will tell you I have had many WWI era items with the Dale Evans buttons on them. I have had some Scoville also, but I think I have also seen scoville often on WWII items as well. Good luck.
