Marshallj Posted March 16 Share #63 Posted March 16 No mention of Marx toy soldiers! They were 6 inches tall but to a kid they were giant and very detailed. Americans were green, Germans were gray and Japanese were yellow! Link to comment

My like minded friends and I called them "10 cent army men" since the local store sold them for 10 cents each. Even kids could afford them and we had quite a few of them. My favorite were the Germans in Gray. I remember the American and Japanese ones too. Steve Link to comment
AndrewHL Posted March 21 Share #65 Posted March 21 I’m amazed that so many of y’all still have your childhood toys! Between moves, Hurricane Hugo, a divorce, pieces I gave to friends kids and of course so many toys I destroyed with firecrackers, M80’s and my BB gun; there is nothing left! Link to comment
