Just recently found a stash of my old toys
interestingly I never had a Friend get shot by the police

Oh and my childhood Toy Box was full of real wwi & wwii steel pots, web belts holsters Ext
parents owned a antique collectable store in the early 60s to the mid 80s

HELLO ALL; I FOUND THIS THREAD BY CHANCE LOOKING FOR MARX CAP GUNS. I KNEW I HAD SOME INTERESTING  PIECES. I'LL ADD THIS ONE, IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THERE IS A SPARE COMPARTMENT  FOR  XTRA AMMO??? ALSO, IN REGARDS TO THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THESE TOY LUGER'S, THERE ACTUALLY WAS A CONTRACT FOR THE LUFTWAFFE  WITH THE ku  AS EITHER A PRE or SUFFIX TO THE SERIAL NUMBER.IMG_1857.JPG.425316630ca79cea67a251674a692f7d.JPGIMG_1862.JPG.12543a073c8cb4dafcf1c959f0aed8fc.JPG

No mention of Marx toy soldiers! They were 6 inches tall but to a kid they were giant and very detailed. Americans were green, Germans were gray and Japanese were yellow!

Yes, I remember these well from the mid 1960s.  My like minded friends and I called them "10 cent army men" since the local store sold them for 10 cents each. Even kids could afford them and we had quite a few of them.  My favorite were the Germans in Gray.  I remember the American and Japanese ones too.

I’m amazed that so many of y’all still have your childhood toys!
Between moves, Hurricane Hugo, a divorce, pieces I gave to friends kids and of course so many toys I destroyed with firecrackers, M80’s and my BB gun; there is nothing left!
