Made by The WM. H Bellis Co, Annapolis Md.    Named to G. H Wales, Class 1929.

  In my search i found that George Herrick Wales was a 1929 graduate of the US Naval Academy at Annapolis.

He would later go on to command the USS Pogy, (SS-266).   George received 2 silver stars for his service during WWII, and  retired in 1963 with the rank of rear admiral,
