doyler Posted September 1, 2021 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2021 I have one similar from Vietnam era. Same plated 105 casing and wooden prohectile. Mine has a Spectre Gunship logo engraved on it. Looks like you have a similar one, and I'm inclined to agree with the masses that this is a Vietnam Era one. It looks to be dated '72. Im a WWII collector, but I wouldn't pass up this for $4! I toured one in Tolemeida,Colombia after it saved our bacon in San Jose Guavierre, Nov, 2008. I was a DOS COLAR (Colombian Army advisor) back then. 917601 Posted February 8, 2022 Share #15 Posted February 8, 2022 Also, note the USAF 105mm was a fixed round. They have a noticeable crimp at the case mouth.
