Brian Keith Posted August 31, 2021 Share #1 Posted August 31, 2021 Here is a small insignia grouping I picked up from a vendor who purchased a large amount of items from the Howe Military School when it closed recently. From a small bit of research I did, there was a building named after him, Father Jennings Center. Apparently he was a student of Howe, graduated in 1912, was associated with the school from 1916- 1951 and served as a Priest (Chaplin) in the US Army from 1941-1946. Grouping has an Army Officer’s cap badge, a matched pair of Christian Chaplin Corps insignia, a couple of Catholic identification badges and Captains and Major’s rank insignia. There is a post card I found for sale: Howe, IN - Howe Military School - Father Jennings Center - Exterior – Grounds C1959. Bit of information: “Howe Military Academy's July 2019 Howe Review. The final publication. After 135 years, Howe Military Academy announced in March, 2019 that it would not be opening for the 2019-2020 school year.” Comments welcome! Thanks for looking!
