I have only been able to find the name, G.I Davis, I was wondering if anyone could find the unit or anything else. The Number is #8210

Residence Freeport Ill.

Enlisted on 7/4/1861 as a 1st Lieutenant.

Commissioned into "A" Co. IL 11th Infantry Promoted to Quartermaster Transferred to Field & Staff

He was Mustered Out on 7/29/1864

born in 1827  -  died in 1901

Buried: Presbyterian, Hollidaysburg, PA
