Local surplus store has these patches and would like to nail done the unit. Are they Air Force or Army? 

 

I'm leaning towards AF, with the Maltese Crosses, caliper , wrench and electronic symbol.

The design was previously the 9th Field Maintenance Squadron. They have been at Beale AFB, CA since 1966.
