JosephC Posted August 28, 2021 Share #1 Posted August 28, 2021 during recent antiquing trip I found a shoulder holster for my US Navy issued S&W Victory revolver. I had not seen one before so laid out the money for it. My revolver fits nicely. it is marked USN Boyt 44. I think the shoulder holster would be issued to navy flyers. silverplate Posted August 30, 2021 Share #4 Posted August 30, 2021 Very nice holster. You were smart to pick it up. Navy marked holsters for the Victory are not often seen. It took me a while to find my 1943 dated example to go with my Victory.
gap Posted August 30, 2021 Share #5 Posted August 30, 2021 You probably know this already, but it is not advisable to store the revolver in the holster.
thorin6 Posted August 30, 2021 Share #6 Posted August 30, 2021 I found one of these a month ago that had been modified to allow removal of the pistol faster. It also had the cloth strip added to hold .38 special rounds. It also is marked USN over BOYT over 44.
