Is this blanket from WWII or post war ? The blanket seems heavier than my WWII dated blankets

Is this blanket from WWII or is it post war ?

 

the color is right the blanket is heavier than my ww2 dated ones it’s thicker. So I was wandering if this was post war or if it just depended on the mill they were made at ?

The more a blanket is used & cleaned, the lighter it will get.  I have seen some threadbare blankets that probably only weighed half as much as a new one.
