Help identifying a jump wing

The wing appears to be US made, but by the look of the clutches, it appears to have either been modified or repaired as the findings do not look like the mass-produced variety. 

 

It is possible that the wing dates to WWII, but I would guess that it is later production. Sterling was used well into the 1960's.
