Toolick Posted August 16, 2021 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2021 Hello. Appreciate any assistance in identification of this uniform and war. The maker is throwing me a curve. Thanks
Salvage Sailor Posted August 16, 2021 Share #2 Posted August 16, 2021 USN Vietnam Era AZ2 uniform, (AZ) Aviation Maintenance Administrationman (1964- ), tailor made with zipper at Yokosuka, homeport of the 7th Fleet (the Foreign Legion). Look for a stenciled name or serial number inside the pockets on the lining.
sigsaye Posted August 16, 2021 Share #3 Posted August 16, 2021 These were in the “Hay Day”, of the, so called, “Tailor Made” uniforms. It’s beautiful. The rate of AZ, came around in 1964, as has been mentioned. The jumper style of uniform was phasing out by 1971, as the “Suit & Tie, CPO uniform for all was phasing in. Love these uniforms, I grew up with these.
