Post Vietnam War USN VA/VFA-113 Stinger Patch - Original or Repro?

I was told this is a repro.  Can anyone confirm and, if so, where and when it was made?

It looks like some of the newer copies coming out of the Philippines.  However their copies are a lot and a little different (see below).   I do not know if your piece is authentic.

I picked it up directly from a retired USAF pilot along with a bunch of his 1970s-80s F-4 and F-15 patches.  There was one other repro/reunion patch with the group (see below).  

He told me he recalled getting the Stinger patch in the late 70s from someone in his squadron when he was stationed in Korea.  Perhaps someone had them made up as a reunion patch as well, perhaps in the Philippines.  Seems odd though as the unit was still active at the time.
