462nd Tactical Fighter Squadron Patch - Old or Repro?

I picked this patch up recently along with a bunch of other 1970s-80s USAF patches directly from a retired F-4/F-15 pilot.  Oddly, this patch dates from a squadron that was inactivated in 1959.  It looks like there are a lot of repros of this patch on ebay but none look like this patch.  This patch is US made, merrowed edge and has what looks like a non Asian made repro back.  Am I mistaken?  Was this squadron reactivated at some point in the 1970s-80s?

 

Any help would be appreciated.

This one has already been IDed on USAFpatches.com as a REPRO/FAKE. I take no credit on this one.

Taiwan made repro. A real one looks like the attached. The same patch was used from the FBS days into the TFS era.

Thanks to both Yokota57 and Randy for the repro ID.  Interesting in that it’s actually a nicely made patch as compared to a lot of the Asian made repros.

Taiwan did some decent stuff. This one appears to be from the 70s, so maybe a reunion patch. I have seen several over the years. A real one is a tough catch.
