Vanderbilt Posted August 10, 2021 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2021 Found this MB quite by accident. Looking for examples of pre 1916 soldier images to use for guidelines for putting together proper uniforms for Grand Army of the Frontier shoots. My father was a WW2 veteran and I have a few of his items. I also recently acquired a few photos of a great uncle on my mothers side. They have dates between 1912-1918. I have yet to search out his service record.

Vanderbilt Posted August 11, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted August 11, 2021 MB - message board. My father was a medic, I have some of his items, medals and such. He was of that generation that never spoke much about what he did or saw. I do know he was wounded bad enough to be sent home. I will dig some of the stuff out and post it eventually.
