**Note to USAF collectors//historians: Of course the lighter with the brass C-47 may be pre-Dec '52, 21st Troop Carrier Squadron (Medium). The base stamp provides no information on the date it was manufactured.

Detachment 1, Tokyo International Airport (Haneda). *1453d MAES, Military Air Transport Service (Pacific Division) was based at Hickam AFB, TH/HI. Japanese-made with a #251 Zippo insert.

SIGINT and CRYPTO. They were monitoring the ChiComs with their AN/FLR-9 antenna array at Clark. Ultimate destination: NSA.
