This is one that I stripped and am attempting to restore.  Half of the seam is gone and it was caked in old paint so I really can't hurt it.  Trying to get the correct color for WW2, I first got a OD that I thought was good and did that.  Reading about the rattle can Krylon OD, then did half in that.  Didn't like either so I took a helmet to Lowes and had them color match.  Comments, questions or advice always welcomed.

Thanks all.  The paint I had mixed was for a "sample" size but is enough to easily do 50+ helmets - for $4...

Both actually.  The lighter is an off the shelf color.  I'll post the code later.  They are are both latex and satin.  I think the sheen is perfect.  The rattle can was way too flat.
