FlyNavy02 Posted August 5, 2021 #1 Posted August 5, 2021 Below are images of a 4-inch diameter jacket patch for the 315th Tactical Airlift Wing stationed at Royal Air Force Mildenhall. The 315th Troop Carrier Wing was redesignated as the 315th Tactical Airlift Wing on 1 July 1967. The 315th Tactical Airlift Wing was consolidated with the 513th Troop Carrier Group on 31 January 1984. The unit became the 513th Air Control Group on 7 March 1996. This one looks like it was made in Japan, perhaps during the late 1960s – early 1970s. Opinions welcomed. Thanks for looking.
