Is ebay banning more medals and removing the listings?

Received the below message in quotes from an ebay seller that sells medals.

Some of his listings were removed and he was threatened with a banning.  Hundreds like these are still on the ebay site. They were the Distinguished Service medals, Heroism medal, Soldiers medal for Valor, etc.

Ebay has banned the Purple Heart and Silver Star but this is the first that I have heard of these others.

"What activity didn't follow the policy

We appreciate you for considering eBay to list your item; however, as you listed a Government/Military issued medal it breached eBay's policy. We enforce this policy as these medals are presented by the government to an individual for their unflinching service in their respective field, whose value can't be undermined by such commercialized approach. Also, there is a possibility that these medals may be used inappropriately. Hence, we request you to avoid relisting such items on the site regardless of whether they are allowed for sale under the current law."
