Just got home.

 

I have to eat dinner and do some other stuff so there will be more pictures to follow.

Named AAF jacket with pink pants.

 

Looks like he might have been a pilot as there are signs of a wing having been pinned on.

Really interesting. I’ve never seen the those sewn on the lapel before. Any idea where it would’ve been made?

The reason I ask, I have a matching hat for it. Give me a day or two to dig it out (it lives in the cedar chest underneath all the other uniforms) and I'll add a few pictures to see how well they go together. If memory is correct the color is right as are the wings but not sure if this one has the US above the prop or not.

Here's mine. Looking at mine I can't help but wonder if yours is made incorrectly. The backing should be in the back of the lapel like mine. Mine is dated 1924 from Philadelphia Depot.
