beefheart Posted July 29, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 29, 2021 Hi USMF, Does anyone can help me identify these patches? The best i can guess is "UNPIK Airborne Wings", but i cannot find any reference for these round patches. Usually the airborne wings is in badge. Is it replica? post-war? or original war-era? Thank you!
Tonomachi Posted July 29, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 29, 2021 My guess is that this is probably a reunion piece worn on a baseball cap or blazer. You need to message forum member Torch03 who is the expert on anything UNPFK or UNPIK who I believe has a website concerning their insignia worn during the Korean War. https://www.8240th.com/

Reply from 8240th: Quote it's not a wartime original patch for the unit. When and why it was made is anyones guess. So yeah, i think mystery solved. Thank you for the help!
