These are pictures of the 258th Field Artillery armory today.  It was supposed to be the largest armory building in the world.  They actually found some Revolutionary War cannons during the construction.

The cadets drilled in the Armory at least in the 70's and 80's that I know of.  And I was aware of the unit of the 258th with the same name.  I  did misspell "grey" though of all things.

I lived nearby and remember when they had self propelled artillery,  I  think it was the M-107, it would tear up the asphalt when one would drive on the street to be transported for maneuvers.  Didn't happen that often.
