Question on Vietnam in country made Reversible Camo Rain Jacket Poncho...?

Hey guys,

 

I picked this up recently with a couple other shirts from the same guy.  I have never seen anything like this so I just wanted to get opinions on what exactly you thought it is?

 

Is it indeed a theater made in country rain jacket?  and is it Vietnam era?

I sold a very similar poncho recently.  Mine was an extremely lightweight pullover poncho with the same camo parachute lining and was named to a Navy Corpsman.  As far as I know, these were Vietnam era and not common at all.

Is it Vietnam Era?  I am well out of my element when it comes to Vietnam stuff.  Especially camo theater made stuff.  I had searched quite a bit and didn't find really any other ponchos similar.  How many have you seen that leads you to say they are common made?
