BigBrother Posted July 26, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 26, 2021 As I’m fleshing out my collection for WWII reenactment (dress and service uniforms for dances), I’d been planning to ask on here if there are go-to sources for all the bits and bobs (pins, ribbons, patches, buttons, etc.) I’ll need for the uniforms. I’m talking strictly reproduction- no need for the real deal with these. (I’ve found a few purveyors online but figured there might be some standard go-tos.) Thanks so much! RDUNE Posted July 26, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 26, 2021 I use Eagle Emblems if I need to make a shadow box or other display where new-made pieces will suffice. I like that I can order the ribbons, devices, mounting bars, patches, etc all in one shot. They aren't necessarily the cheapest but if you open a wholesale account with them things are a lot cheaper. -Ryan
BigBrother Posted November 30, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted November 30, 2021 Thanks, I realized I never responded to this. Eagle Emblems was actually the one I was already considering. I will probably go with them for most of my needs. Thank you so much! Also, for others reading this, if you want to buy without a wholesale account you can contact J&S Surplus in Monterey, CA. It’s their retail outlet and they will mail to you.
