Brad1 Posted July 25, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 25, 2021 I posted his Grouping earlier but wanted to post his wings here. William Pannis served with Claire Chennault in China. The center wings are the Diegs & Clust of course. The bottom wings I believe are C.B.I. but have not seen those marks anywhere, that is why I posted here to possibly find more info on those,
rathbonemuseum.com Posted July 25, 2021 Share #2 Posted July 25, 2021 Yes, the bottom ones are Chinese made based on hand made style, findings and the chop marks. Don't know what these say in particular but probably are hallmarks indiciating silver content. The top command pilots look like unmarked Josten in my opinion. Great wings. MikeK Posted July 25, 2021 Share #3 Posted July 25, 2021 Wow, excellent lot of wings with provenance. The Chinese wing is a killer, even with the repaired hinge. Many thanks for showing them!

Brad1 Posted July 26, 2021 Author Share #5 Posted July 26, 2021 Thank you all. Thanks for the info Rathbonemuseum, thought that's what the bottom wings were but hadn't even concentrated on the command wings yet.
