Steindaddie Posted July 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2021 Interesting piece of artwork painted on a sheet of wood from what I assume is the 76th Bombardment Squadron. I say "assume" because the squadron's time as the "76th Bombardment" was relatively brief and they appear to have not had an official insignia; perhaps this painting is the "unofficial" version. A woman has signed her name on the back of this 14" painting: "Joyce Geddes(?) 1942". I presume her to be the artist (she has an artsy signature). Any thoughts on whether this was the unofficial but accepted insignia of the 76th?
