douglas Posted July 24, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2021 Hi All, I was wondering what the small loop is for on a M1A1 carbine paratrooper jump case, located on reverse side, upper right corner. Anyone know what it was for and how it was used? Thanks, Douglas PHOTO OF MINE:

douglas Posted July 24, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted July 24, 2021 Thank you pwcosol for the link. I had searched the forum and did not find this link. So, on February 28, 2009, member Willaert posted, "You can run the right back suspender straps through the extra webbing loop for extra weight distribution". Sounds reasonable to me. Anyone have a photo or drawing in a TM or FM of this being done?? Douglas
ken88 Posted August 4, 2021 Share #4 Posted August 4, 2021 Here's a pic I am guessing the back suspender refers to the parachute suspension/harness?
