Aviation enthusiast potentially saves pilot's life after seeing sparks coming from his plane. While photographing American F-15's taking off from RAF Lakenheath, the plane spotter saw something he knew was not right... a trail of sparks coming out of the aircraft. He managed to get a call through to ground control who took him seriously enough to contact the pilots.
