JWR813 Posted July 22, 2021 Share #1 Posted July 22, 2021 I have this 98K Mauser. It has a 1930s date on receiver. I can't tell the manufacture as there is a scope mounted on the receiver. The gun is all matching and has been tapped and parkerized. It is a nice example of a war prize adapted to a hunting rifle. I was most intrigued by the inlaid eagle. Can anyone identify what branch, rank or uniform it might have come from?
